AR 670-1 COMPLIANT MILITARY BOOTS

Any seasoned soldier knows that not all Army boots are created equal. While the U.S. Army has published regulations to guide military personnel in which boots to buy, the rules leave some decisions up to the service member and the command.

AR 670-1 REGULATION SUMMARY:

• Coyote brown flesh side out cattle hide leather upper with non-mesh fabric
• Coyote brown outsole made of rubber or PU that is no more than 2-inches in height
• Plain toe, outsole must not extend above toe or heel
• Coyote Brown laces and closed loop speed lacing system
• 8 inches in height with a padded collar
• Removable cushioned insert
• Drainage eyelets
• Logos must be subdued to the boot

AR 670-1 Authorized Boots:
