The patches will not peel or fall apart due to use of a single layer of IR film. In covert applications, the Garrison Patch prevents friendly fire casualties by reflecting white light from headlights, flashlights, and infrared light sources. This patch can also be viewed with NVGs or other night vision devices, but is non-covert.
