This unique US Patriot Operation Hawkeye patch commemorates the lives of the thirty-one service members who lost their lives on August 6, 2011 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom as their CH-47 Chinook helicopter was shot from the sky. All proceeds from the sale of Operation Hawkeye items go to the nonprofit All In All The Time Foundation.
The thirty men and one highly trained dog tragically died in Wardak province, Afghanistan as they worked on Operation Enduring Freedom. This was the single largest loss of life for American Special Forces in a single day. Will Thomas, a 12-year-old boy from Virginia was inspired to raise money for the families of the victims of this helicopter crash. Thomas asked donors to pledge funds for every basket he made throughout Labor Day weekend 2011. Amazingly, this 12-year-old made over 20,000 shots and raised $50,000.
Show your support of this special cause through your purchase of the Operation Hawkeye Patch.
