The pararigger ABU skill badge is a military qualification badge of the United States Air Force that was first created in 1948 and officially approved in 1986. In order to be eligible for the badge, an individual must first graduate from the Basic Airborne Course, and it has been retroactively awarded to officers who performed duties as riggers before May 1951 but did not graduate from a Parachute Rigger course.
The pararigger ABU skill badge consists of a winged hemispherical canopy with conically arrayed cords. In the center, there is a badge inscribed “RIGGER.” The winged parachute symbolizes the functions of rigging supplies for air drop in addition to the packing and repair of parachutes used for personnel and cargo. The badge can be sewn directly onto your uniform to represent the skill and loyalty you demonstrated while in the United States Military.
The Pararigger Badge serves as a lasting reminder of the dedication you exemplified to become a qualified rigger. Order your badge today!
